1. WELCOME
FansCritic exists because subscribers helping subscribers beats guesswork. Every review you write helps someone decide whether to spend their money; every creator you flag protects someone else from a scam. That trust only works if the community commits to a few shared rules.
These guidelines apply to every account, every review, every comment, and every flag - no exceptions.
2. OUR VALUES
We build the community around three values:
- Honesty. Real experiences, described plainly. No fabricated reviews, no paid placements disguised as reviews.
- Respect. Disagree with content; don't attack the person. Creators are human, and so are subscribers.
- Protection. Your review can warn someone away from a scam - that's powerful, and it carries responsibility.
3. WHAT MAKES A GREAT REVIEW
The best reviews are specific, first-hand, and useful to someone deciding right now.
A great review tells the reader:
- How long were you subscribed?
- What did you get (volume, quality, freshness of content)?
- Did the creator actually respond to DMs?
- Was pricing transparent, or did you hit unexpected paywalls?
- Would you resubscribe?
A great review does not require you to like the creator - criticism is welcome, and often more useful than praise.
Good example:
Subscribed for 2 months in February-March. Feed posted 3-4 times a week, mostly photo sets with occasional short video. DMs went unanswered after the first day. Custom request priced $80 and was delivered as described. Overall decent but overpriced compared to similar creators.
Poor example:
Mid.
4. REVIEW STANDARDS
- Only review creators you have actually subscribed to. If you haven't paid, you haven't experienced the product.
- Describe your own experience, not rumors or what you saw on Reddit.
- Be specific - dates, dollar amounts, and what you actually received help readers.
- Disclose bias. If you have any commercial relationship with the creator (agency, affiliate, personal connection), declare it or don't review.
5. WHAT'S NOT ALLOWED
The following will be removed and may result in account action:
- Fake reviews. Any review not based on real first-hand experience.
- Paid reviews. Any review you were paid, gifted, or pressured to write.
- Review bombing. Coordinating with others to tank or inflate ratings.
- Personal attacks. Criticism of content is fine; attacks on the creator's appearance, race, sexuality, religion, or personal life are not.
- Doxxing. Sharing any creator's real name, address, workplace, school, family, or any info beyond the stage name they publicly use - even if you "found it online." Immediate ban.
- Non-consensual sexual content claims. Do not claim to have private or leaked content, request it, or link to it.
- Identifying minors or claiming the creator is underage without evidence. If you believe a creator is underage, report it - do not post it as a review.
- Spam & promotion. Promoting other sites, services, or creators inside a review.
- Illegal content. No threats, no solicitation of illegal acts.
- Hate speech. Slurs, dehumanizing content, or discrimination of any kind.
6. RESPECT FOR CREATORS
Creators are workers. Treat them like you would treat any professional whose service you're reviewing:
- Criticize the content and the service - not the person.
- Remember that creators have the right to set their own pricing, posting schedule, and style.
- If a creator doesn't match your taste, that's not a 1-star situation - that's a "not for me."
- Creators have a right of reply for reviews they believe are factually wrong.
7. RATING FAIRLY
A star rating reflects the service delivered - not the subscriber's unrelated frustrations.
- 5 stars: Exceptional - consistent content, fair pricing, responsive, no surprises.
- 4 stars: Good - some minor issues but overall worth the money.
- 3 stars: Mixed - some things work, some don't. Explain in text.
- 2 stars: Below expectations - content stale, unresponsive, or overpriced.
- 1 star: Do not subscribe - misleading, inactive, scam behavior, or off-platform pressure.
Reserve 1-star for real problems. Reserve 5-star for real standouts. Everything else is the middle - and that's OK.
8. REPORTING CONTENT
Every review has a flag button. Use it if a review:
- appears fake, paid, or coordinated
- contains doxxing, personal info, or leaked content
- attacks the creator personally
- violates any rule in section 5
We review every flag. False flagging (mass-flagging honest negative reviews, for example) can itself result in account action.
9. MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT
- Automated checks. Every review passes through automated filters for doxxing terms, duplicate content, and suspicious patterns.
- Human review. Flagged reviews and reviews caught by automation are reviewed by a human moderator.
- Typical response time: within 48 hours for flags, within 24 hours for urgent issues (minors, doxxing, threats).
Enforcement actions, roughly in order:
- Warning - first-time minor violations
- Review removal - content violating the rules is taken down
- Posting cooldown - temporary inability to post reviews
- Account suspension - for repeated or serious violations
- Permanent ban - for doxxing, underage-content claims used as harassment, or coordinated review fraud
Immediate permanent ban: doxxing a creator, posting non-consensual intimate imagery, or any involvement with minor content.
10. APPEALS
If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, you can appeal:
- Reply to the moderation notification, or Contact us
- Include your username, the review in question, and why you believe the decision was incorrect
- A second moderator (not the one who made the original decision) reviews the appeal
- You'll receive a decision within 5 business days
We won't always agree with your appeal, but every appeal gets read by a human.
